Stuart Mackenzie

Educated in both physics and chemistry, I have a diverse range of research interests with spectroscopy as a core element. Novel instrument and technique development lie at the heart of my activities with applications in gas-phase transition metal cluster chemistry (relevant to heterogeneous catalysis), molecular scattering, photophysics of proteins (especially magnetic field effects) and interfacial dynamics. Most of this work is interdisciplinary and collaborative in nature with over half of my last 50 papers published jointly with other research groups.
